Cr333
Open Cluster in Scorpius

About
A faint open cluster in Scorpius. SIMBAD gives it an angular size of about 7′ and a visual magnitude of 9.8, with a proper motion measured in a 2005 study.
Imaging tips
- At about 7′ across it is too small to frame widely: use a long focal length and a fine pixel scale.
- Broadband is the right choice for an open cluster; the stars are the subject.
- Best in June; it peaks near 6° altitude from 50°N, so a southern horizon is needed.
