Reflection Nebula in Orion

About
A small reflection nebula in Orion, about 3′ across. SIMBAD lists it under BD-06 1253, an emission-line star of spectral type A1 whose Gaia parallax puts it roughly 1,200 light-years away.
Imaging tips
- At about 3′ across it is too small to frame: use a long focal length and a fine pixel scale.
- A reflection nebula, so shoot broadband (LRGB or one-shot colour) rather than narrowband.
- Best around December; it peaks near 33° altitude from 50°N.
- One imager used a 12-inch f/3.6 astrograph with a monochrome CCD, six 10-minute subs each in L, R, G and B for four hours in total.
