Reflection Nebula in Cepheus

About
A reflection nebula in Cepheus, lit by HD 210806, an 8th-magnitude B8 subgiant. It shares a large dust cloud with vdB 149, and the pair is put at about 1,019 light-years from us. The cloud beside it is the dark nebula LDN 1235.
Imaging tips
- Only about 6′ across, so it is too small to frame: use a long focal length and a fine pixel scale.
- Reflection nebulae need broadband; skip narrowband filters.
- vdB 149 is about 30′ away, so a wider field takes in both nebulae; one imager's 75′ × 56′ frame also showed LDN 1235 next to this one.
- One imager shot it with 8 luminance and 2 colour exposures of 10 minutes each and found the surrounding cloud featureless at that image scale.
- Best in August and September; it peaks near 67° altitude from 50°N.
