Reflection Nebula in Cygnus

About
A small reflection nebula in Cygnus that shines with the light of HD 206887, a star of about magnitude 8. Its distance is not well known, since the star's parallax measurement is unreliable, but it lies within the Orion Arm.
Imaging tips
- About 4′ across, so it is too small to frame: use a long focal length and a fine pixel scale.
- A reflection nebula, so broadband suits it. One imager took LRGB with 6 × 10 min of luminance and 5 × 10 min per colour, 3.5 hours in all.
- That imager used a 12-inch f/3.6 astrograph with a 1.95° × 1.3° field, which shows the nebula as a small object in a wide star field.
- Best from July to September, peaking near 89° altitude from 50°N.
