Reflection Nebula in Cygnus

About
A faint veil of reflection nebula in Cygnus surrounding the magnitude 5.6 blue supergiant HD 190603, whose strong wind built the nebula. Its distance is debated: older studies give about 3,590 light-years, more recent ones about 13,590.
Imaging tips
- About 5′ across, so it is too small to frame: use a long focal length and fine pixel scale.
- Described as a faint veil around its star, so expect a weak signal; broadband is the right filter choice.
- One imager used a 12-inch f/3.6 astrograph, 6 × 10 min luminance and 5 × 10 min each of red, green and blue, 3 h 30 min in total, binned 2×2.
- Best around July and August; it peaks near 72° altitude from 50°N.
