Dark Nebula in Cepheus

About
A narrow, irregular dark nebula in Cepheus. Barnard noted that it runs northeast to southwest and measured it as 19′ long.
Imaging tips
- Barnard gave its length as 19′, and one page lists it at 25′ × 25′, so plan a long focal length and a fine pixel scale.
- A dark nebula shows only against the stars behind it, so shoot broadband.
- One imager used 40 × 3 min luminance and 10 × 6 min per colour; another gathered 23 × 12 min luminance plus colour.
- Best in August and September; it peaks near 81° altitude from 50°N.
